Townsville

Townsville was our original destination when we left Cairns before getting side tracked with the Tablelands and Tully. We spent the night at a rest stop just outside Townsville at a place called Saunders Beach. We then headed into the city and had a wander about, before deciding that there wasn't a lot to do here and stocked up on supplies for the road trip, as we had decided to head for Alice Springs and Ayres Rock. Here we went seperate ways from Ian and Amy as they were heading further South down the coast.
