Burleigh Heads and Point Danger

After a day up in the mountains in the rainforest it was time to go back to the coast again and we first ended up in a place called Burleigh Heads. This is around 10k South of Surfers Paradise and actually has a better surfing scene as the jagged rocks and strong rip current entice the more experiened surfers. The other main attraction in Burleigh is the small National Park. This is a cool location right on the coast where you can have a walk about the hills which offer great views of the coast.

The last stop of the day was a place called Point Danger. This is located in Tweed Heads which is the Southern-most point of the Gold Coast. This represents the border between Queensland and New South Wales. It was now time to move onto another state after spending the majority of our time so far in Queensland.
