Tin Can Bay

After Hervey Bay we were headed for Brisbane but had a few places in mind to stop off at along the way. Tin Can Bay was the 1st as its a quiet little fishing village. However it does have two main attractions that visit the marina every morning around 8a.m. They are two wild dolphins that come into the marina every morning for their breakfast and are fed 10 kilos of fish each, which seems a lot as they didn't seem that large. We arrived just in time to see everyone feeding them but unfortunately we were too late to feed them ourselves as there was no fish left. Once the last fish was eaten we were told that we could enter the water and touch them but the dolphins weren't interested in this and as soon as the food was finished so were they. However we did enjoy watching them and couldn't believe how close we were and didn't even have to pay a penny! Here are the pics.
