Bundaberg

After leaving Rockhampton our next destination was to be Hervey Bay, however en-route we stopped at a place called Bundaberg to have a look around. Bundaberg is full of sugarcane farms and is home to Bundaberg Rum, if any of you drink that back home. There are also various other fruit picking farms around the area although as we were passing through it was the end of the season and there was no work to be found.

After having a quick look around and paying a visit to the tourist information office we decided that there wasn't a lot to do here and we were still set on Hervey Bay. As it was a warm day we decided to wait until the evening before driving so that the van would have less chance of overheating. Therefore we headed to the cinema and caught the new quentin Tarantino film "Inglorious Basterds" which was fantastic as always from Tarantino.
