Ok so we only have 1 more month in Australia as we have now been here for 6 already! We have been fortunate enough to see from the Daintree Rainforest in the far North East, to the red centre where we walked along the top of Kings Canyon, seen the Devils Marbles and the Olgas, Gemma managed to climb to the top of Ayres Rock, drive down all the East coast to Melbourne before taking the ferry to Tasmania where we spent a fantastic week before travelling the Great Ocean Road to Adelaide where we currently are and will be spending Christmas. This is probably already more than both of us had hoped to see if we were being realistic however we decided that we would be greedy and booked us up on a few flights around the country!
Firstly we will fly to Perth tomorrow (Boxing Day) where we will spend around 2 weeks, hopefully getting to do a little travelling on the West coast taking in New Year and Gemmas birthday. Then on the 12th of January we will be flying up North to Darwin which I can't wait to see as that was 1 of our top destinations we wanted to check out and we can get back amongst the crocodiles again! From Darwin we will travel to Sydney on the 19th where we will spend our last 2 weeks in Australia before it is time to leave and head for New Zealand.
